City & Guilds 2365-03 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Building and Structures) Level 3
About this course
This qualification is ideal if you are looking to advance your electrical knowledge and practical skills on site. The Electrical Level 3 qualification is aimed at candidates who have already completed the Electrical Level 2 Diploma with trade experience. This qualification can lead directly into employment, offers the chance to develop your electrical skills to a higher trade recognised standard. At completion, learners can progress onto one of the following qualifications;
- Inspection and Testing
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Electrical NVQ Level 3
The course has been designed for candidates wanting a viable entry route into the electrical industry. This qualification provides an understanding of Fundamental Principles and Environmental Technologies, Principles of Electrical Science, Fault Diagnosis and Rectification, Inspection, Testing and Commissioning and Electrical system Design.
The City & Guilds 2365 Level 3 is the intended progression route for candidates who have already achieved the 2365 Level 2, 2330 Level 2 or 2360 Part 1. “It is also possible to join straight onto the Level 3 course if you have previous electrical knowledge and experience.”*
City & Guilds 2393 Part P Course content:
- Health and safety in building services engineering
- Principles of electrical science
- Electrical installations: faults diagnosis and rectification
- Electrical installations: inspection, testing and commissioning
- Electrical systems design
- Career awareness in building services engineering
- Upto 18 Weeks.
- 3 days per Week (Weekdays).
- Evening classes.
- Timings: 6pm-9pm.
*subject to your verifiable 3 years work experience plus your assessment that will be conducted in our centre before admission.
