To secure the JIB ECS Gold Card you need to complete City and Guilds 2357 NVQ is mandatory. This qualification is aimed at individuals who have completed the 2365 Level 3 or 2330 Level 3 Diploma and are currently employed in the industry.

NVQ Structure and Methodology Unlike standard classroom or online courses, the NVQ at Cranbrook College involves ongoing competency assessments. Students are required to submit evidence through our e-portfolio system. This includes a variety of formats such as witness testimonies, photos, videos, and professional discussions with Assessors.
Duration and Cost The NVQ typically takes 6-18 months to complete for those with relevant industry experience. The total fee is £1950.00, with a £450.00 deposit and the remainder payable within 3 monthly instalments of starting. This includes all registration and certification fees.
Registration Validity and Re-Enrolment Students at Cranbrook College are given a two-year window to complete the NVQ. If not completed within this timeframe, re-enrolment at the full NVQ cost is required to regain City & Guilds account access.
Advanced Course Options Upon NVQ completion, students may progress to the Level 4 Award in the Design and Verification of Electrical Installations.
Entry Requirements This course is suitable for professionals in the electrical industry who have previously achieved the City & Guilds 2360 Part 2, 2330 Level 3, or 2365 Level 3 technical certificates.
